LED lighting: technologies, advantages and applications

A large-scale project to illuminate an area of 40 hectares is continuing at the Park Hotel Skifia tourist complex, located near Kropyvnytskyi (in the village of Zakharivka, Novoukrainskyi district).
Over the course of nearly five years, more than 1,500 luminaires have been installed in various areas of Skifia, including more than 520 architectural spotlights, 200 park luminaires, over 260 ceiling luminaires, and nearly 190 universal LED luminaires. Some of the equipment — modern AmbeRay models — is equipped with LoRaWAN-based control modules, which provide energy-efficient remote light control. In total, the control system consists of 150 luminaires.
High-quality LED lighting is extremely important for the development of tourist facilities. It creates a safe and comfortable environment, emphasizes beauty of architectural forms, promotes energy efficiency, and also cultivates an image of the area as progressive and open for recreation.
Since 2021, the RadiyLED initiative has been underway, aimed at improving the infrastructure and tourist attractiveness of the region. RadiyLED lighting is, first and foremost, an investment in the infrastructure development of the region, the comfort of tourists, and the sustainable progress of the region.
